Lathami Lodge is a well-equipped four bedroom holiday house providing self-contained accommodation with spectacular views over Stokes Bay on Kangaroo Island.

Centrally located to all the Island’s attractions, Lathami Lodge is nestled within 25 acres of rolling hills and native Australian bush and is bordered by Lathami Conservation Park, established to help protect and increase the endangered Glossy Black Cockatoo.

Lathami Lodge is a bird and nature-lovers’ paradise. Visiting kangaroos, echnidnas, Glossy Black Cockatoos, wrens, fantails, robins and soaring Wedge-Tailed Eagles are part of life here, making a stay truly memorable.

Kangaroo Island is Australia’s third largest island, situated less than 20 kilometres from the mainland of South Australia. Appropriately named by explorer Matthew Flinders, the Island’s kangaroos number 60,000 compared to around 4,500 residents.

Referred to as ‘Australia’s Galapagos’ for its abundant and distinct wildlife, locals simply call it ‘KI’.

“Had the HMS Beagle landed in Kangaroo Island first, Charles Darwin might never have made it to the Galapagos.” (K. Jackson, usatoday.com, 7th October, 2019)

We welcome you to Lathami Lodge, our dream ‘home away from home’, and we hope that it will be as magical for you as it always is for us.
